About Peter

A seasoned veterinarian, I graduated with a BA from Amherst College in '70 and achieved a DVM from Cornell Veterinary School in '76. Following an enriching internship at UC Davis from '76 to '77, I established a thriving private practice in CT in 1977 and proudly owned/operated Torrington Animal Hospital from 1982 to 2015. Currently reveling in my dream job at VBCVC, I am licensed in both CT and FL. My veterinary passions lie in surgery and ophthalmology. Beyond the clinic, my heart is with my family—my beloved wife Essie, and our wonderful children Dan and Kate. In my leisure moments, I find joy in sailing, tennis, and woodworking.
